(٧٦) هـ- إسحاق بن الصباح الكندي الأشعثي الكوفي. نزيل مصر: روى عن الحسن بن الخلال، وسعيد بن أبي مريم، وسريج بن يونس. روى عنه أبو داود [السجستاني]-ومات قبله-، وحماد بن الحسن بن عنبسة الوراق. قال ابن يونس: "مات بمصر في رمضات سنة (٢٧٧ هـ) ". قلت: قال أبو بكر الخلال في كتاب "السُّنَّة": "أخبرنا أبو داود قال: ثنا إسحاق بن الصباح -ثقة-" (١).
