(٥٠) أحمد بن علي بن مسعود [ابن عبد الله بن الحسن بن عطاف البغدادي الدارقزي الخطابي المقرئ الوراق المعروف بابن السقاء، أبو عبد الله]: قال ابن النجار: "سمع معنا الحديث، ولم تكن طريقته محمودة ولا أفعالهُ حسنة".ا. هـ. قلت: قال أبو عبد الله ابن الديثي في "تاريخه": "كان فيه فَضْلٌ وتميُّزٌ إلاَّ أنه لمْ يَكُنْ بالعلم"، وقال ابن نقطة في "تكملة الإكمال": "سماعه صحيح". مولده في رجب سنة (٥٤٤ هـ)، وتوفي في خامس رجب سنة (٦١٣ هـ) ببغداد (١).
