عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن الغازي القسنطيني: فقيه، له معرفة بالأنساب والتاريخ، من كتاب العلامة في الدولة الحفصية. ذكره إبن الأحمر في كتابه "مستودع العلامة" وقال: "الفقيه الكاتب صاحب القلم الأعلى، كاتب علامة المنتخب لدين الله يحيى بن إبراهيم بن يحيى بن عبد الواحد بن أبي حفص الموحد ملك بجاية. كاتب علامة في ثلاث دول، ورب المعرفة بأنساب الأواخر والاول". ويحيى بن ابراهيم هذا ولي الإمارة حوالي سنة ٦٨٣ هـ وتوفي في بجاية سنة ٧٠٠هـ ١٣٠٠ م، فيكون عبد الرحمن قد ولي كتابة العلامة في هذه الحقبة من التاريخ (٢)القسنطيني (القرن ٧ الهجري / القرن ١٣ ميلادي)
