محمد بن يحيى بن مؤمن بن علي الزواوي، الغبريني، أبو عبد الله، الملقب بمنديل: نحوي، من العلماء الصلحاء الزهاد، من أهل بجاية، رحل الى المشرق، وحج، وجاور بمكة، وسمع بها من الجمال الاميوطي وغيره. قال الفاسي: بحر في العربية وتحقيق مسائلها، صالح، زاهد، ورع، فاضل، مفنن، ابتلي بالوسوسة متعب كثيرا". مات بمكة. (٢) الغربي (القرن ١١ الهجري / القرن ١٧ الميلادي)
