يوسف بن عدون بن الشيخ حمو والحاج اليزقني، أبو يعقوب: عالم إباضي، مفسر، له اشتغال بالتاريخ، من اوائل المصلحين الكبار في وادي ميزاب في عصره. استخلفه الشيخ عبد العزيز الثميني في مسجد بني يسقن لما أسن وعجز. أقام بالقاهرة أربع سنين بعد رجوعه من الحج ولقي كبار علماء الأزهر وتناقش معهم في المسائل العلمية. له "شرح الدعائم" و"حاشية على البيضاوي" في التفسير و "كتاب" في سيرة الرسول ﵇، و "أرجوزة" في بضعة آلاف بيت في الشريعة وأسرارها.
