علي بن ... : طبيب، أديب، شاعر، كان في أيام الدولة الحمادية. ذكره صاحب خريدة القصر من بين جماعة من الشعراء في المغرب الاوسط وقال انه أديب وطبيب وأورد له بيتين من الشعر. وذكره القفطي وقال: الطبيب الافريقي، مرتزق بالطب في الدولة الحمادية وله شعر وأدب وأورد له نفس البيتين. (٢) الطرابلسي (١٣٠٤ - ١٣٦٨هـ / ١٨٨٧ - ١٩٤٨م)
