أحمد بن الحسين بن محمد الطبني، أبو عمر: محدث، من أهل طبنة، قال ابن الفرضي: "وصل الى الاندلس حدثا وسمع بقرطبة من قاسم بن أصبغ وابن أبي دليم، ورحل الى المشرق حاجا سنة ٣٤٢ هـوسمع في رحلته سماعا يسيرا. وكان رجلا صالحا فاضلا، حدث، وكتبت عنه أحاديث، وتوفي بقرطبة" (١) الطبني (٣٣٦ - ٤١٥هـ / ٩٤٧ - ١٠٢٤م)
