يوسف بن عبد السلام بن علي بن عمر، جمال الدين، أبو يعقوب، الزواوي: قاض، من كبار العلماء. رحل أبوه من بجاية الى المشرق واستقر بمدينة دمشق، فنشأ هو وتعلم بها، ثم ولي قضاء المالكية فيها. مات وهو في طريق الحجاز. (١) زيان العبد الوادي ( .. - نحو ٦٢٢هـ / .. - نحو ١٢٢٥م)
