عاشور بن محمد بن عبيد بن محمد المسعودي، الهلالي النسب، الخنقي: بحاث، من العلماء، ولد في " خنقةسيدي ناجي" من قرى الزاب، ونشأ بقسنطينة، وتعلم بها وبنفطة بتونس. نفاه الفرنسيون الى منطقة الأغواط لأكثر من ١٥ سنة. من آثاره " منار الأشراف على فضل عصاة الأشراف ومواليهم من الأطراف" رد فيه على تعليقات صالح بن مهنا (انظر ترجمته) التي كتبها على رحلة الورثيلاني. طبع بتونس سنة ١٩١٤ م. مات بقسنطينة. (١) خوجة (نحو ١١٨٩ - ١٢٥٥هـ / نحو ١٧٧٥ - ١٨٤٠م)
