محمد سعيد بن محيي الدين بن مصطفى الحسني الجزائري: الشقيق الاكبر للامير عبد القادر، فقيه، صوفي، مشارك في بعض العلوم. ولد بالقيطنة من نواحي وهران، وتولى مشيخة الطريقة القادرية في المغرب قبل نزوحه الى دمشق. وعرضت عليه امارة الجهاد قبل أخيه الأمير، فلم يقبلها، واشترك معه في الجهاد ضد الفرنسيين. قال صاحب منتخبات التواريخ: " وكان محل اعتقاد واعزاز علماء دمشق حين هاجر اليها. من آثاره "إتقان الصنع في شرح رسالة الوضع " طبعت في، بيروت سنة ١٣٠٨هـ. مات بدمشق. (٢) الجزائري (١٢٩٨ - ١٣٩٠هـ / ١٨٨١ - ١٩٧٠م)
