محمد بن أبي مدين التلمساني، أبو عبد الله: عالم، متكلم، من كبار فقهاء المالكية بتلمسان، وبها نشأ وتعلم، ثم تصدر للتدريس. قال تلميذه ابن العباس التلمساني: علم الاعلام في المنقول والمعقول، خصوصا علم الكلام، اذ لولا هو لتلاشى علم الكلام بل علم المعقول بأسره بمغربنا" (٢). التلمساني ( .. - حيا ٩٣٠هـ / .. - حيا ١٥٢٤م)
