أحمد بن عبد الرحمن (أبي يحيى) بن محمد بن أحمد، أبو العباس، ويقال أبو جعفر، الحسني التلمساني: مفسر، قاض، محدث، حافظ، أصولي، من أكابر فقهاء المالكية، وهو حفيد الشريف التلمساني، الآتية ترجمته، نشأ وتعلم بتلمسان، ثم رحله الى الاندلس وولي قضاء الجماعة يغرناطة في أواخر العهد الاسلامي بها. أخذ عنه محمد بن علي بن الأزرق الغرناطي المتوفي سنة ٨٩٦ هـ. قال السخاوي عن صاحب الترجمة: إنه ممن عمر، وهو سنة ٨٩٦هـ من الأحياء" وفي وفيات الونشريسي انه توفي بتلمسان سنة ٨٩٥هـ.
