    سليمان بن يوسف بن إبراهيم الحسناوي: البجائي، أبو الربيع: فقيه مالكي، من كبارهم، تقدم في الأصلين والفرائش والحساب والمنطق. أكره على قضاء الجماعة ببجاية فأقام به أكثر من سنتين ثم أعرض عنه ولازم التدريس والإفتاء. قال السخاوي. أخذ عن عمه أبي الحسن علي بن إبراهيم ومحمد بن بلقاسم المشذالي، وكان يصرح ببلوغ رتبة الاجتهاد ومخالفة إمامه في كثير من الفروع". ونعته الشيخ زروق بالشيخ الفقيه الإمام الصدر العالم، وقال إنه من صدور الإسلام في وقته علما وديانة". له "شرح على المدونة" و"سير السالكين وسراج الهالكين" وتصانيف في الحساب والفرائض والمنطق. توفي ببجاية (٢)البجائي ( ... - ٦٧٥هـ / ... - ١٢٨٥م)
