الحسن بن علي بن محمد الأغماتي، أبو علي: فقيه، لغوي، له نظم. أصله من تلمسان. روى عن أبي عبد الله بن عبد العزيز اللخمي من أصحاب أبي الحجاج القضاعي. قال ابن الأبار: وصار إلى جزيرة ميورقة قبل الستمائة وأقام فيها وقتا، ثم خرج منها وعاد إليها ثانية واقرأ بها العربية وأخذ عنه إلى أن سعي به عند واليها وبجماعة معه فأزعجهم منها، واجتاز علينا ببلنسية في سنة ٦١٥ هـ فلقيته بدار الإمارة منها، وسمعت منه بعض منظومه، ولم يكن بالقوي، وبلغني أنه توفيبمراكش بعد ذلك بيسير".
