حسن بن عبد الله بن حسن الكاتب، أبو علي، ويعرف بابن الأشيري: أديب، كاتب، شاعر، عارف بالقراءات واللغة والغريب. قال ابن الأبار: ولد بتلمسان ونشأ بها. ثم انتقل إلى الأندلس قبل سنة ٥٤٠هـ فأخذ بالمرية عن ابن يسعون وغيره. له "مجموع في غريب الموطأ" و"نظم اللآلي" مختصر في التاريخ، و"قصيدة" في غزوة السبطاط وكانت سنة ٥٦٩هـ. ولم أعثر على تاريخ وفاته.
