    ١ - يحيى بن يحيى الغَسَّاني، قاضي دمشق. حدث عن: سعيد بن المسيب، وعروة بن الزبير، وأبي بكر بن محمد بن عمرو بن حزم وغيرهم. روى عنه: ابنه هشام، ومحمد بن إسحاق، وسفيان بن عيينة، ومحمد بن راشد الخُزَاعي. قال الخطيب: أنا أبو خازم محمد بن الحسين بن محمد بن الفَرَّاء: أنا الحسين بن علي بن أبي أسامة الحلبي: ثنا أبو عمران بن الأشيب القاضي: ثنا عبد الله بن محمد بن عبيد: ثنا محمد بن سعد، قال: يحيى بن يحيى الغساني، كان بدمشق، عالم بالفتيا والقضاء، مات سنة خمس وثلاثين ومائة.
