    مخلد بن مالك، اثنان (١): أحدهما: ١ - أبو جعفر الجَمَّال الرازي، سكن نيسابور، وحدث بها عن عبد العزيز الدَّرَاوردي، وسُفيان بن عيينة، ويحيى بن سعيد القَطَّان، وعبد الرحمن بن مهدي، ووكيع، وأبي أسامة، وعبد الله بن نمير، وعبدان بن عثمان، والوليد بن مسلم. روى عنه: محمد بن إسماعيل البخاري، ومسلم بن الحجاج، ومحمد بن عبد الوهاب الفَرَّاء، والحسن بن سفيان وغيرهم. ومات مخلد بنيسابور في سنة إحدى وأربعين ومائتين.
