    غوث بن سليمان، اثنان (١): مصريان، أحدهما: ١ - أبو يحيى غوث بن سليمان [١٠٢ - ب] بن زياد بن ربيعة بن نُعيم بن ربيعة بن عمرو بن عبيدة بن جذيمة الحضرمي قاضي مصر. ولي القضاء بها ثلاث مرات في أيام المنصور والمهدي. وحدث عن أبيه عن عبد الله بن الحارث بن جزء، صاحب النبي ﷺ. روى عنه: عبد الله بن وهب، ومحمد بن عمر الواقدي، ويحيى بن بكير، وعبد الغفار بن داود الحَرَّاني، وأبو الوليد الطيالسي، وذكر أبو سعيد بن يونس أنه ولد في سنة أربع وتسعين، ومات في سنة ثمان وستين ومائة.
