١ - عمر بن أبي إسماعيل، مولى بني سليم، واسم أبيه راشد، وهو كوفي. حدث عن: نافع مولى ابن عمر، وأبي الضُّحى مسلم بن صبيح، وعامر الشعبي. روى عنه: سفيان الثوري، وإسماعيل بن زكريا الخلقاني، ويونس بن [٨٣ - ب] راشد، وغيرهم. قال الخطيب: أنا أبو الفتح منصور بن ربيعة الزهري الخطيب بدينور: أنا علي بن أحمد بن علي بن راشد: أنا أحمد بن يحيى الجارود، قال: سمعت علي بن عبد الله بن جعفر المديني يقول: إسماعيل بن راشد، وعمر بن راشد، ومحمد بن راشد أخوة، وهم بنو أبي إسماعيل. قال علي: وسمعت أبي يقول: ولدوا هؤلاء في بطن واحد.
