عبد الله بن وهب بن مسلم القرشي المصري، مولى رمانة، ويقال: مولى بني فهر. سمع عمرو بن الحارث، ومالك بن أنس، وابن أبي ذئب، وابن جريج، والسفيانين وغيرهم. روى عنه الليث بن سعد، وقد روى هو أيضاً عن الليث بن سعد، وروى عنه يحيى بن بكير، وسعيد بن عفير، وأحمد بن صالح، وحرملة بن يحيى، وجماعة غيرهم، إمام مشهور توفي سنة سبع وتسعين ومائة، حديثه أكثر من أن يحصر (٣).والثاني:
