٣ - وعبد الله بن رجاء بن عمر، ويقال: عبد الله بن رجاء بن المثنى، أبو عمرو الغُداني البصري. سمع: شعبة بن الحجاج، وسعيد بن سلمة بن أبي الحسام، وإسرائيل بن يونس، وعبد الرحمن المسعودي، وحرب بن شداد. روى عنه: محمد بن المثنى العنزي، ومحمد بن يحيى الذهلي، وعمرو بن علي الصيرفي، ومحمد بن إسماعيل البخاري، وأبو حاتم الرازي، ويعقوب بن سفيان الفسوي، والفضل بن الحُباب البصري، وغيرهم. قال الخطيب: وقد ذكرنا له حديثاً في ترجمة سعيد بن سلمة. قال الخطيب: أنا ابن الفضل: أنا جعفر الخُلْدي: نا محمد بن عبد الله الحضرمي، قال: سنة عشرين ومائتين فيها مات عبد الله بن رجاء [٥٩ - ب].
