    ٢ - وصالح بن أبي صالح، أبو محمد المدني، واسم أبي صالح نبهان مولى التوأمة بنت أُمية بن خلف، ويقال: أن التوأمة كانت ولدت معها أخت لها في بطن فسميت تلك باسم وسميت هذه التوأمة. حدث عن: أبي هريرة، وعبد الله بن عباس، وزيد بن خالد. روى عنه: عمارة بن غزية، وأبو الزناد، وزياد بن سفر (٢)، وابن جريج، وابن أبي ذئب، وسفيان الثوري، وسعيد بن أبي أيوب، وأبو أيوب الإفريقي.قال محمد بن سعد: صالح بن أبي صالح واسمه نبهان مولى التؤمة قال الهيثم: توفي سنة خمس وعشرين ومائة.
