١ - صالح بن صالح بن حي الهمداني الكوفي، والد علي والحسن، ويقال: اسم حي: حيان. سمع: عامراً الشعبي، وسلمة بن كهيل، وأبا السفر سعيد بن يحمد (٢)، وأبا معشر زياد بن كليب، وعاصم بن أبي النجود، وعبد الرحمن بن أبي نعيم، وعون بن أبي جحيفة، وعلي بن الأقمر، وغيرهم. روى عنه: ابناه علي والحسن، وشعبة، وزائدة بن قُدَامة، وشريك بن عبد الله، وسلام بن أبي مطيع، وأبو عوانة، وهُشيم، وعبد الواحد بن زياد، وعبد الله بن المبارك، وعبدة بن سليمان، ويحيى بن زكريا بن أبي زائدة.
