    ٢ - والربيع بن حبيب كوفي، أخو عائذ بن حبيب بن الملاح ثقتان جميعاً. قال الخطيب: والبصري يكنى أبا سلمة، وهو حنفي، حدث عن أبي جعفر محمد بن علي بن الحسين، والحسن البصري، وابن سيرين، وأبي سعيد الرقاشي، وعبد الله بن عبيد بن عمير. وروى عنه: عبد الصمد بن عبد الوارث أيضاً، ويحيى بن سعيد القطان، وبهز بن أسد، وحجاج بن مِنْهال، وموسى بن إسماعيل. وأما: الربيع بن حبيب الكوفي. فإنه حدث عن نوفل بن عبد الملك. روى عنه عبيد الله بن موسى.
