    ٢ - خلف بن سالم، أبو محمد المهلبي المَخْزُومي البغدادي. سمع: أبا بكر بن عياش، وهشيماً، وإسماعيل بن عُليَّة، وغُنْدَر، ويحيى بن سعيد القطان، وعبد الرحمن بن مهدي، وعمرو بن عاصم، وعبد الرزاق. روى عنه: يعقوب بن شيبة، ومحمد بن إسحاق الصغاني، وعباس الدُّوري، وجعفر الطيالسي، وأحمد بن أبي خيثمة، وأحمد بن الحسن الصوفي وغيرهم. آخر الجزء الثاني من «التجريد» ويتلوه في الثالث إن شاء الله تعالى لأسماء كتاب «المتفق والمفترق» للخطيب (١) خازم بن خزيمة، اثنان، كل واحد منهما يكنى أبا خزيمة، والحمد لله حق حمده، وصلاته على رسوله سيدنا محمد النبي وآله وسلامه [٣٥ - أ].﷽ رب يسر ..
