    حمزة بن غزوان، اثنان (١): ضبيان كوفيان. ١ - أحدهما: يروي عن أنس بن مالك، حدث عنه قيس بن الربيع. والآخر: ٢ - أخو فُضيل بن غزوان، كان يُذكر عنه صلاح وورع [٣٢ - ب]، حكى عنه ابن أخيه محمد بن فضيل وغيره، ولا أعلمه أسند شيئاً. أخبرني أبو الحسين محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد الأهوازي: أنا أحمد بن عبدان الشيرازي الحافظ: حدثني إسماعيل بن عبد الله: حدثنا أحمد بن زهير: أنا سليمان أبي شيخ: حدثني معاوية بن حمزة بن المغيرة. قال كان حمزة بن غزوان أخو فُضيل بن غزوان رجل صدق له معروف، وكان إذا بلغه أن يتيمة زوجت على مائتي درهم ونحو ذلك أرسل إليهم ابعثوا إليَّ بالمهر حتى أجهزها فيجهزها بألفي درهم أو أكثر.
