٢ - وجميل بن معمر بن عبد الله العُذري، هو الشاعر وأخباره مشهورة، وقد رُويَ عنه عن أنس بن مالك حديث مُسند. قال الخطيب: أنا القاضي أبو العلاء محمد بن علي الواسطي: نا أبو زرعة أحمد بن الحسين الرازي، قال: حدثني لاحق بن الحسين الصدري بأبهر، قال: حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن أحمد بن سعيد المهري بالإسكندرية: نا محمد بن صالح البهزي (١): نا محمد بن حرب الخَوْلاني: نا محمد بن راشد بن عمرو الحبطي، قال: قلت لجميل بن معمر لو قرأت القرآن كان أعود عليك من الشعر، قال: هذا أنس بن [٢٢ - أ] مالك، أخبرني أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: «إن من الشِّعْر حِكمة».
