١ - جميل بن معمر الجُمحي، له صحبة. وهو الذي ذكره الشاعر فقال فيما حكاه أبو حاتم عن أبي عبيدة عن يونس قال: جاء عبد الرحمن بن عوف إلى باب عمر بن الخطاب فسمعه يتمثل في بيته: وكيف مقامي بالمدينة بعد ما ... قضى وطراً منها جميل بن معمر ويُرْوَى (٤) كيف ثوائي بالمدينة قال يا يرفا من بالباب قال عبد الرحمن بن عوف قال: أدخله فلما دخل قال: أسمعت قال نعم، قال: إذا خلونا في منازلنا قلنا ما يقول الناس. قال القاضي: هذا جميل بن معمر الجمحي من مَسْلَمة الفتح، قُتِلَ علىعهد عُمر، وليس بجميل بن معمر بن عبد الله العُذْري.
