٢ - وجابر بن عبد الله بن رياب بن النعمان بن سنان بن عبيد بن عدي بن غنم بن كعب بن سلمة الأنصاري. كان أحد الستة من الأنصار الذين لقوا رسول الله ﷺبِمِنَى فاعترضهم وأخبرهم بالذي بعثه الله به، ودعاهم إلى الإسلام فأسلموا ورجعوا إلى قومهم فذكروا لهم ذلك، وأفشوا فيهم الإسلام حتى انتشر ذلك في قرى الأنصار وقبائلها، ورواية جابر هذا عن النبي ﷺ قليلة.
