٥ - وثابت بن قيس، أبو الغُصْن المدني، مولى بني غِفَار. رأى جابر بن عبد الله، وأنس بن مالك، ونافع بن جُبير بن مُطْعِم، وعمربن عبد العزيز. وحدث عن أبي سعيد المقبري. روى عنه: عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، ومَعْن بن عيسى، وزيد بن الحُباب، وأبو عامر العَقَدي، والقَعْنَبِي، وإسحاق بن محمد الفَرَوي. قال يحيى بن معين: أبو الغُصْن ليس به بأس، واسمه ثابت بن قيس.
