محمد بن أحمد بن محمد بن الحَجَّاج بن رشدين، أبو عبد الله. قال مسلمة: كان ورَّاقاً لمحمد بن زبان، وهو كان القارئ عليه، وكان كثير الجمع والكتاب، وكان يذهب مذهب المدنيين، ثم مال إلى مذهب الشافعي فكان يجالس الرازي الشافعي، [٢٣٧ - ب] وسبقته عنده، وكان مال إلى الزهد والانقباض بأَخَرَة، ومات وهو حسن المذهب في جمادى الأولى سنة ثلاثين وثلاثمائة. وقال ابن يونس (١): كتب كثيراً، وكان يتكسب بالوِرَاقة على الشيوخ مثل محمد بن زبان وغيره، وقد كتبتُ عنه. ٩٣٧٨ -
