محمد بن أحمد بن خلف بن إبراهيم التُّجَيبي، المعروف بابن الحَاج، أبو عبد الله القُرْطُبي. روى عن أبي علي الغَسَّاني، وأبي جعفر أحمد بن رزق، وجماعة. قال ابن بشكوال: كان من جِلَّة الفقهاء، وكبار العلماء، معدوداً في المحدثينوالأدباء، معتنياً بالحديث والآثار، جامعاً لها، مُقيداً لما أشكل من معانيها، ضابطاً لأسماء رجالها، ذاكراً للغريب والأنساب واللغة والإعراب، [٢٣٢ - أ] قيد العلم عمره كله، قرأت عليه وسمعت وأجاز لي بخطه، قُتِلَ ظلماً وهو ساجد يوم الجمعة سنة تسع وعشرين وخمسمائة (١). ٩٣٠٧ -
