علي بن عمر بن العباس، أبو الحسن الرازي، الفقيه. قال الخليلي (٥): أفضل من لقيناه بالري، وكان مفتيها قريباً من ستين سنة، وأكثر عن أبي حاتم، وابن معاوية الكَاغَدي (٦)، وأحمد بن خالد الحروري، ومحمد بن قازن، ولقي بأخرة شيوخ بغداد أبا عمرو بن السماك، وأحمد بن سلمان (٧) وأقرانهما، وكان عالماً، له في كل علم حظ، وفي الفقه كان إماماً، بلغقريباً من مائة سنة، سمعت عبد الله بن محمد الحافظ يقول: لم يعش من أصحاب الشافعي من الفقهاء أكثر مما عاش هذا [١٥٢ - ب]، وكان عالماً بالفتاوى والنظر. ٨٠٦٧ -
