علي بن أحمد، أبو الحسن الواحدي المفسِّر النيسابوري، تلميذ أبي إسحاق الثعلبي. روى في كتبه عن: ابن محمش، وأبي بكر الحيري، وطائفة، وكان رأساً في اللغة والعربية. توفي في جمادى الآخرة سنة ثمان وستين وأربعمائة وهو من أبناء السبعين (٢). ٧٩٣٧ - علي [٤] بن أحمد (٣) الحواري، من أهل واسط. يروي [١٤٤ - ب] عن: عبيد الله بن موسى، وأبي نعيم، حدثنا عنه ابن أخيه (٤) بواسط (٥). ٧٩٣٨ -
