عبد الغني بن الحسن بن أحمد بن الحسن بن العَطَّار، أبو محمد، ابن الحافظ أبي العلاء الهمذاني. حدَّث عن أبي القاسم هبة الله بن الحُصَين وجماعة. حدث عنه: أبو عبد الله محمد بن سعيد الحافظ، وابن الحصري، وجماعة. قال ابن النجار: كان فقيهاً فاضلاً حسن المعرفة بمذهب الشافعي ويعرف طرفاً حسناً من الحديث، توفي سنة اثنتين وثمانين وخمسمائة، ومولده سنةخمس عشرة (١). ٧٠٣٨ -
