عبد الله بن علي بن عبد الله، أبو محمد الرُّشَاطِي. روى عن: أبي علي الغَسَّاني، والصَّدَفي، سمع منهما كثيراً. قال ابن بشكوال: كانت له عناية كثيرة بالحديث والرجال والرواة والتاريخ، وله كتاب حسن سماه «اقتباس الأنوار والتماس الأزهار في أنساب الصحابة ورواة الآثار» أخذه الناس عنه، وكتب إلينا بإجازته مع سائر ما رواه، مولده يوم السبت لثمان خلون من جمادى الآخرة سنة ست وستين وأربعمائة، توفي نحو سنة أربعين وخمسمائة (٢).٦٠٢١ -
