شُرَيح بن محمد بن شُرَيح، أبو الحسن الرُّعَيني المقرئ. روى عن أبيه كثيراً، وعن أبي محمد بن خزرج، وأجاز له ابن حَزْم.قال ابن بشكوال: كان من جلَّة المؤمنين (١)، معدوداً في الأدباء والمحدثين، خطيباً بليغاً حافظاً محسناً، حَسَن الخط، واسع الخلق، سمع الناس منه كثيراً ورحلوا إليه، أخذت عنه وسمعت عليه، وأجاز لي. مولده سنة إحدى وخمسين وأربعمائة، وتوفي سنة تسع وثلاثين وخمسمائة (٢). ٥٠٨٩ -
