أحمد بن مَسْروق، أبو العباس البغدادي. قال مسلمة: كان كثير الحديث مشهوراً به، مات ببغداد سنة ثمان وتسعين ومائتين وله ثمان وثمانون سنة. وفي كتاب ابن الجوزي (٢): أحمد بن محمد بن مسروق أبو العباس الطوسي الصوفي، روى عن خلف بن هشام، وابن المديني، وهناد وغيرهم. قال الدارقطني (٣): ليس بالقوي يأتي بالمعضلات فالله أعلم (٤). ٨١٥ -
