أحمد بن محمد بن عبد الله بن خالد، أبو عبد الله المعروف بابن الكاتب. سمع أبا علي ابن الصوَّاف، ومخلد بن جعفر والطبقة. قال الخطيب: كتبت عنه، وكان صحيح السماع كثيره. توفي سنة خمس وعشرين وأربعمائة (٢)، ومولده سنة ست وثلاثين وثلاثمائة (٣). ٦٩٤ -
