    ٨٣٧٣- مالك بن عبد اللَّه الكنديّ. كان أحد من ثبت على إسلامه حين ارتدّ قومه، فخطبهم وخوّفهم، وأنشدهم أبياتا ذكرها وثيمة في كتاب «الردة» وكان عابدا لسنا، فأطاعوه، ثم غلب عليهم الشّقاء فارتدّوا وطردوه، فلحق بزياد بن لبيد والمسلمين.
