٣٥٧٥ - (خ م د س ق) عتبة بن مسلم التيمي مولاهم المدني، وهو ابن أبي عتبة. قال أبو بكر [ق ٨٩ / أ] الخطيب في كتابه " الموضح ": أن البخاري فرق بين عتبة بن مسلم مولى بني تيم، وبين عتبة بن أبي عتبة، وهما واحد، انتهى. تبع البخاري ابن حبان البستي في كتاب الثقات الذي نقل المزي توثيقه من عنده. وفي الواسطيين:
