٧٧٨ - (سي) بشير الحارثي والد عصام له صحبة. قال أبو نعيم: هو ابن فديك، يكنى أبا عصام الحارثي. وقيل الكعبي.وقال ابن بنت منيع: لا أعلم له غير حديث تغيير النبي ﷺ اسمه. وزعم الأستاذ رضي الدين الصغاني في كتابه «نقعة الصديان» أنه بشير ابن معبد، ويشبه أن يكون تصحف على الناسخ بابن الخصاصية، والله أعلم. وكناه أبو أحمد العسكري أبا علباء، قال: وبلغ ابنه عصام ست عشرة ومائة سنة، قال: وكان أبي يفرق بين ولده في المضاجع إذا بلغوا عشرا. وسماه الدارقطني: بشير بن عصام.من اسمه بشير
