    ٧٨٠٠ - معاذ بن محمد الهُذَلي، عن يونس بن عبيد، لا يتابَع على رفع حديثه، قاله العقيلي، انتهى. وذكر ابن حبان في "الثقات": معاذ بن محمد بن حَيَّان ابن أخي سَلِيم بن حَيَّان، من أهل البصرة، روى عن الأوزاعي، روى عنه محمد بن أبي بكر المقدَّمي. فكأنه هو، وقد فرق العقيلي بينه وبين الذي قبله، ويؤخذ من الترجمتين أنهما واحد، اختُلف في نسبته.
