    ٧٧١٩ - ز- مسلم بن أبي مسلم الجَرْمي، سكن بغداد. قال ابن حبان في "الثقات": يروي عن يزيد بن هارون، ومخلد بن الحسين، حدثنا عنه الحسن بن سفيان، وأبو يعلى، مات سنة ٢٤٠، ربما أخطأ. وقال الأزدي: حدث بأحاديث لا يتابَع عليها، وكان إمامًا بطَرَسُوس. وقال الخطيب في "المتفق": اسم أبيه عبد الرحمن، وأفاد في الرواة عنه: موسى بن هارون، وأبو عوف (¬١) البُزُوري وغيرهما. وأورد له البيهقي من وجهين عنه، عن مخلد بن حسين، عن هشام بن حسان، عن ابن سيرين، عن أبي هريرة ﵁، مرفوعًا: "لا يقل أحدكم: زرعتُ، ولكن ليقل: حرثتُ" وقال: إنه غير قوي. قلت: وليس في إسناده من يُنظر فيه غير مسلم هذا.
