٧٢٣٧ - ز - محمد بن عمار العِجْلي، أبو جعفر العطار الكوفي. قال أبو الحسن بن سفيان في "تاريخه": كان أحد الحفاظ المعدودين، وكان بينه وبين ابن سعيد -يعني أبا العباس بن عُقْدة- تباعُد جدًّا، وكان ابنُ سعيد يتكلم فيه، وهو يتكلّم في ابن سعيد بأكثر مما يتكلَّم فيه، ولم يظهر لنا منه شيءٌ نكرهُه. وأخبرني بعض أصحابنا أنه سمعه يقول: ولدت سنة ٢٤٧. قال: ومات سنة اثنتين وثلاثين وثلاث مئة.
