    ٦٧٤١ - هـ - محمد بن خالد الخُتَّلي. قال ابن الجوزي في "الموضوعات": كذبوه. روى عن كثير بن هشام حديث: "يتجلَّى لأبي بكر خاصّةً". قال ابن منده: صاحبُ مناكير، ويروي عن شعيب بن حرب. إسماعيل بن أبي خالد المقدسي، حدثنا محمد بن خالد البصري، حدثنا خالد بن سعيد بن أبي مريم، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر ﵄ مرفوعًا: "من قرأ سورة الكَهْف في يوم الجمعة سَطَع له نُور من تحت قدمه إلى عَنَان السماء، يضيء له يوم القيامة، وغُفر له ما بين الجمعتَين"، انتهى. وأعاده (¬١) مختصرًا فقال: محمد بن خلي الخُتَّلي، هو محمد بن خالد (¬٢)، كذَّبوه، فيحرَّر أبوه. وقال في "تلخيص المستدرك" عقب الحديث المذكور: أحسَب محمدَ بن خالدٍ وضعه.
