٥٩٥٩ - عيسى بن مِيناء، قالُونُ المدني المقرئ، صاحبُ نافع. أما في القراءة فثَبْت، وأما في الحديث فيكتب حديثه في الجملة. سئل أحمد بن صالح المصري عن حديثه، فضحك وقال: تكتبون عن كلِّ أحد. قلت: روى عن محمد بن جعفر بن أبي كثير، وعبد الرحمن بنأبي الزناد. وعنه إسماعيل القاضي، وأبو زرعة، وطائفة. ومات سنة ٢٢٥، انتهى. وذكره ابن حبان في "الثقات" وقال: كنيته أبو موسى، روى عنه محمد بن إسماعيل البخاري، وإسماعيل القاضي. وقال ابن أبي حاتم: سمعت علي بن الحسن الهِسِنْجاني يقول: كان قالونُ أصمَّ شديد الصَّمم، وكان ينظر إلى شفتي القارئ، فيردُّ عليه اللحنَ والخطأ.
