٥٥٠١ - ز - علي بن مسعود بن هَيَّاب، أبو الحسن الواسطي المقرئ الجَمَاجِمي. قرأ القراءات على هبة الله بن قَسَّام وجماعة، وأقرأ، وكان يحفظ المشهورَ والشاذ. توفي في جمادى الأوَّل سنة ٦١٧ بواسط. قال ابن نقطة: قرأتُ عليه، وكان متساهِلًا جدًّا (¬٢).
