٥٤٤٤ - ز - علي بن علي بن جعفر بن شِيْرَان، أبو القاسم الضَّرير الواسطي. قرأ بالروايات على أبي علي غُلام الهَرَّاس، وحدَّث عن الحسن بن أحمد الغُنْدِجاني، وتصدَّر للإِقراء. قرأ عليه أبو بكر الباقِلَاني، ونصر اللّه بن الكَيَّال، ورُمِي بالاعتزال. مات في حدود ثلاثين وخمس مئة.
