٥٣٣٥ - علي بن أيوب، أبو الحسن القُمّي ابن السَّارْبَان (¬٢) الكاتب، ذكر أنه سمع من المتنبي "ديوانه"، وسمع من أبي سعيد السِّيرافي. قال الخطيب: سمعت منه، وكان رافضيًا (¬٣)، انتهى. قال الخطيب: لم يكن له كتاب، وإنما وجدنا سماعاتِهِ في كتاب غيره، وحدّثنا من حفظه عن أبي عمر بن حَيُّويه، وأبي بكر بن شاذان. قال: وكان يذكر أن مولده سنة ٣٤٧ بشِيراز، ومات ببغداد سنة ٤٣٠.
